We held our 2nd Steel Plate Competition on Sunday, August 23. We had 24 participants.

This stage is 4 red no shoot targets in front of white shoot targets shooting through a window .

This stage has the moving target and Texas Star. The course of fire is to shoot the star first then the moving target. Shooter is to alternate targets until the star is empty

This stage is a seated plate rack with red no shoot pins.

This stage is a ground seated position. Shoot a spinning target on the dueling tree. Alternate back and forth until all 6 dueling tree plates have been moved from one side to the other.

This past weekend, we had our first steel plate competition. 14 shooters attended the event. We also want to thank those who donated the prizes for the event.
Best Bear Lodge in Irons donated a 24-hour slingshot rental (260.00 value), show and dinner tickets (up to 60.00 value for dinner), and their brand of 1 lb of coffee and a coffee mug.
Tenney Industries donated a $50.00 gift card.
The club purchased a $25 gift card from Tenney Industries.
Chris Schmidt donated 6 $10 gift cards from Meijer.
The winners were allowed to choose what prize they wanted.
Nick Fisher had the high score in center-fire pistols, and he selected the $50 gift card from Tenney Industries and the dinner tickets from Best Bear Lodge.
Matt Hollingsworth was 2nd high score in 22 rimfire, and he selected the $25 gift card for Tenney Industries.
We then had a youth draw tickets from a bowl for the remainder of the prizes. Russ Valet won the Slingshot rental. Other prizes were handed out to other individuals.
